Our work is completely customized. We collaborate with teachers and administrators to analyze student learning and research-based instructional practices to determine the goals and topics for professional development. Here are some of the topics we address:

  • Developing assessment plans that inform instruction; monitor student progress, and identify students at-risk
  • Administering and analyzing diagnostic reading assessments
  • Facilitating professional learning communities and data meetings to lift the quality of student learning
  • Using assessment data to differentiate instruction
  • Teaching how to implement reader’s & writer’s workshop in K-5 classrooms
  • Building cohesive instructional plans that integrate classroom instruction with special education and/or reading intervention services.
  • Teaching coaches & instructional leaders how to support the change process in schools
  • Creating coaching models in schools to support internal professional development
  • Creating instructional models that align state standards and research-based practice
